Hub Showcase: a multi-hub must-attend networking event

Even if you found it difficult to make meetings of your local Refer-On hub on a regular basis, our twice-yearly Hub Showcases held around April and September would be worth your subscription alone.

Our all-hub Showcase events are another point of difference between Refer-On and traditional networking groups. They are held at a convenient central location and offer yet another unrivalled opportunity for members to showcase their businesses, form partnerships or just find out more about what’s on offer from fellow members.

Network with hundreds of other members

At a Refer-On Hub Showcase, members and guests – usually more than 100 of them – gather for a half day’s networking, mentoring and participation. We start early with breakfast and plenty of informal networking before settling down to a themed programme of presentations and talks delivered by key exponents in their field.

Topics are always chosen with the concerns and interests of small businesses in mind and are presented in ways that engage and involve our audience. Recent Hub Showcases have focused on marketing (from briefing and writing a press release to developing a marketing programme), managing customer relationships and making the telephone a key part of customer service.

There are plentiful opportunities to meet with members and guests from other hubs and browse the accompanying exhibition area where members and Refer-On alliance partners showcase what they do and how they can help you.
